Existing Business Services

The Economic Development Council is fully engaged with our existing industries in supporting their efforts to be profitable as well as a great corporate citizen. The EDC is responsible for the oversight of the Pennyrile Industrial Managers Association (PIMA), the Society for Human Resource Managers (SHRM), Safety and Environmental Managers, and most recent committee, IT Managers.

These groups of managers meet regularly to discuss topical issues of importance to their company and their involvement within the community.

These meetings are not open to the public nor are they open for solicitation, but if you have information that you think might be helpful to these groups, please feel free to contact us and we’ll be glad to discuss it.
